Based on the Quickstart function, which has now been successfully used, the travel time can be shortened by a few seconds for lifts that require short transport times – usually office buildings.
At quick start, the motor is already powered during the door closing process and the mechanical brake is opened.
This allows the lift to start without any delay as soon as the doors are completely closed.
In conventional systems, 2…3 sec. usually get lost until the contactors are switched on, the brake has been opened and the inverter has initiated the start-up process.
For using the quickstart function the lift must be equipped with CANopen lift-controlled inverter, a CANopen lift operated position measurement systems and also a safety unit for bypassing the door contacts within the unlocking zone.
