Several underground and suburban train stations of the Cologne transport company KVB have already been equipped with the INTEC lift controller MLC-8000 and run there with high reliability.
As part of the connection of all KVB lifts to a control center, the INTEC lift controllers have now been equipped with Profibus gateways.
Detailed informations about lift state are transmitted in real-time to the control center via Profibus connection and displayed there graphically.
It is also possible to forward commands from the control center to the lift controller, e.g. to switch off lifts or set car calls for test purposes.
Extensive performance tests were successfully completed on Nov. 20th, 2020, in cooperation with KVB and Siemens.
