After training some Mozambicans at INTEC in summer of 2019, Henry Knop visited Maputo again in mid-November to support the Mozambican partners in a first lift controller modernization.
The modernization was made on a machine roomless lift built in 2015.
The quality of the lift was significantly improved by the installation of a modern frequency inverter controlled by CAN bus, optimized arrival and quick start function. Since it is a duplex in which the 2nd elevator has not yet been rebuilt, the differences in quality could be clearly seen in a direct comparison.
With this first own lift modernization, the Mozambicans trained at INTEC were able to improve their acquired knowledge once again.
